Everything should be free …

My
last blog referred to the Wall Street Journal, and I suddenly realised
that I could get this stuff for free … what’s happening?  It used to
cost me an arm and a leg for a view of the WSJ?

Ahhh … they’ve made bits of it free. Must be because so many bloggers out there aren’t charging an arm and a leg, so they had to open up to compete.

Now, who’s next?  The Financial Times?  The Economist?  The Banker?

Actually a lot of their stuff is free too.

In fact, everything should be free …

… or that’s what Chris Anderson, editor of Wired magazine and author of the Long Tail, thinks.  It’s also the title of his new book.  Have a look at what he’s thinking on this video.

I wonder if his book will be free?
