Banks and pigs

Thanks to Jeffry Pilcher at the Financial Brand for his blog on the use of piggy banks in bank advertising.

The timing is goof for this as we both blogged banks bonuses as well (his is worth reading from the USA view) and bankers and pigs may not be an unusual juxtaposition.

I guess we both were prompted to talk about such things due to the mixture of news from Barack Obama capping bank bonuses to $500k to the big hoo-ha about RBS paying big bonuses, which they’re not (they claim).

Anyways, I loved this ad from Associated Credit Union that Jeffry’s blog pointed me to:

Beautiful.

p.s. I like pigs – eat more pork
