After NatWest offered to pay my mortgage for a year if I switched to paperless banking, it came as a surprise to get my Barclaycard statement this morning, on paper, with this page:


Conversation in the Barclaycard Marketing Office:

Chief Marketing Officer: "Now then, how shall we use our spare pages in card statements to improve our customer communications?"

Marketing Wizzo Graduate Bright Spark: "I know … say nothing.  This will make them wonder what it is we are intentionally not saying."

Very clever …
