The news was so bad in the papers yesterday about mortgages, credit crunch, banking and retailing, that I was about to stop reading when I turned the page and found slightly better
news.
Headlined “Is that a crunch in your pocket”, the story is all about how
City boys are finding it hard to deal with their partners in the bedroom due to
all of this stress. Therefore, they are buying huge amounts of Viagra.
According to Mitesh Soma, founder of Chemistdirect.co.uk, a third of all
Viagra orders are being sent to London’s banks.
Mind you, it could be that these very British bankers are purely sucking
these tablets to maintain a stiff upper lip during these tough times.
Meanwhile, Mr. Soma tells me his largest order for Viagra came from 10
Downing Street. Apparently, Mr. Brown needs them for his elections.
p.s. if you missed it, this story could easily be partnered with this earlier blog.
