The best internet hoaxes ever

Thanks to Information Week for pointing out the top internet hoaxes of all time.

First, is the discovery of BigFoot.  Yep, a dead Sasquatch was found in Georgia.  The movie proves it:

Then there’s Snowball, the mutant cat:


and there’s the last tourist to enjoy time on top on the World Trade Centre in 2001. 


Although I think he was beaten by Snowball …

No jokes about banks in this lot though, although I think the last month may have been the biggest internet hoax ever … as in, there is no stock market crash.  It’s all just a dream!
