Queen tells banks to lend some money

Queen_2 I did wonder why the Queen would need some cash, and then saw this picture of her new job … no, it’s nothing to do with our Royalty losing out in the credit crunch, but the fact that today is the Queen’s speech.  This is the speech that marks the official opening of the UK Parliament and their policy plans for the next year.

Her speech today will focus upon banking and how to get the banks to lend again.  Not to her, but to consumers and businesses.  Here’s the analysis from Bloomberg TV:
