Just found a report from this year’s Davos that explores the forces that are shaping the future of the financial services landscape in the near term, and provides tools to approach the most pressing challenges of the post-crisis world, namely: managing and resolving governments’ newly acquired equity interests in financial institutions and restoring trust in financial institutions.
The report sketches three themes which are shaping the financial services industry in the near to medium term:
- Rethinking business models in a lower profit world;
- Increasing client focus; and the
- Polarisation of the competitive landscape.
You can download the report by clicking here (72 page pdf).
Thanks to le laissez faire (is over) for the tip.
