We've all been saying that it's only a while before we pay for everything with a biometric, as mentioned in last weeks blog: The Age of the Password is over.
Bringing this one step nearer to reality is PayPal.
With the release of the Samsung Galaxy S5 last Friday, you can now pay with a fingerprint.
Nice.
Or not?
I''m personally not a fan of fingerprint biometrics.
Apple's TouchID was compromised within a week by the use of a copy fingerprint ...
... and we all know that TouchID doesn't work if you're a bit sweaty.
This is why I far prefer to use my Voice or Heartbeat to pay (not my Heartbleed).
Speaking of Heartbleed, and just in case you haven't seen it yet, a Commonwealth Bank of Australia blogger tried to reassure customers about What you need to know about Heartbleed.
Unfortunately, the blog states that the bank has 'patched' the issue, which garnered a bad response from customers.
