Hanging on the telephone (and trusting my bank)

Monitise produced a report six months ago on mobile usage, and have produced an update this week with some interesting numbers.  For example:

  • 1,124 people use Facebook mobile every month (1,008 million six months ago [sma]) 
  • 456 million people only use Facebook mobile (341 million sma)
  • 85 billion apps have been downloaded from Apple’s App Store (50 billion sma)

There are a few interesting charts also.  For example, the use of operating system/smartphone by country:

There’s a load more in the report, which you can download here, but maybe the one banks can take home is that we all talk about how banks are trusted … well, maybe this chart proves it:
