I received three links yesterday that were really useful.
The first is from my friends at the Financial Brand who, every year, offer a free PowerPoint of useful stats and facts related to bank marketing. There are over 200 stats and graphs in this year's PowerPoint (7.5MB), which has just been released. You can download the file here.
Second is a chart from an article in MIT Technology Review, talking about the war on cash. This shows how cash and non-cash transactions vary dramatically by geography.
Finally, for those who subscribe to the Nilson Report, you will already have this. For those who do not, a very useful summary of American payments stats last year. These are the 11 most requested payment statistcis of2014:
