We are all stuck indoors, and I wonder what you are doing? In my case, I’m learning a new language. What are you doing?
One of they key things to do, and my other hobby, is keep up with ideas as, during this lockdown, there is still a lot of on-going activity online.
A number of people have been booking time to talk 1:1 with me via video (you can book time here https://calendly.com/chris_skinner/30min) and, as you can see, I'm still blogging every day.
Every morning at 08:30 UK time David Brear, the CEO of 11:FS, has a LinkedIn meeting with an interesting firm in the FinTech space. Today is Anne Boden, CEO and founder of Starling Bank for example.
The regular podcasts of FinTech Insiders continues to motor on, as does Blockchain Insiders and InsurTech Insiders. There’s also lots of blogging and the indomitable Leda Glyptis’s blog over on FinTech Futures.
In addition, we are still holding Financial Services Club meetings, just online instead of in a room. There’s a busy schedule of events planned and you can find the full list of forthcoming events here.
There’s also our daily news service and the bulletin service is going great guns too, and is a big plus. You can sign up for the daily news here, and the bulletins here. The weekly bulletins include a few that should interest you, such as:
- Coronavirus - https://zyen.shapingtomorrow.com/challenges/list/17?challenge=2010
- Sustainable finance - https://zyen.shapingtomorrow.com/challenges/list/17?challenge=1805
There are many other great podcasts and blogs updating daily out there, so enjoy them whilst there’s not much else going on.
Oh, and there’s also a few good books to read if you’re interested.
Net:net, use this downtime wisely.
