The FinTech Karaoke Challenge: Summertime

I keep thinking I should give this up, but people keep encouraging me to continue so I will ... for the moment.

This week's challenge was given to me by Brian Caplen, Editor-in-Chief of The Banker magazine, a sister publication of The Financial Times and hugely serious and circumspect.

Therefore, I was surprised when Brian said I must sing Summertime. I immediately thought of Mungo Jerry but he went Ella Fitzgerald and sent me his lyrics. Due to time and focus, I edited his lyrics to my own version so here it is.

Focused on customer journeys

Technology has changed it all

Banks buy the startups

And kiss the founders goodbye

There are now no platforms

That can harm you
