In other news, I found some interesting stats around crypto and stablecoins:
Crypto Dominance : Approximately 90% of stablecoin transaction value in 2025, totalling $41 trillion, was attributed to crypto-asset trading. Consumer Transactions: Stablecoin consumer transactions reached $3 trillion in 2025, accounting for 7% of the total stablecoin transacted value.
RWA Tokenization: Trading of Real-World Asset (RWA) tokens accounted for $88 billion in stablecoin transfer volume in 2025.
Non-Crypto Growth: Excluding crypto-trading, non-crypto transacted value averaged $167 billion per month in 2025, totalling $2 trillion for the year.
Correlation Weakening: The correlation between stablecoin transacted value and crypto-asset traded value is weakening, suggesting increased non-crypto stablecoin use.
Transaction Volume Surge: Consumer stablecoin transactions totaled 3 billion in 2025, with the average transaction value at $1,125.
Wholesale Usage: Approximately $1.5 trillion in stablecoin usage was estimated for wholesale activities like treasury management and interbank settlement in 2025.
