According to the media in Britain this week, it's all
doom and gloom in the financial markets.
inflation rising, house prices tanking, the euro sliding and oil and gold
prices sunk. The press are even forecasting that China and India’s economic
boom is over and the whole world is slipping into recession.
Woe is
us.
It's all claptrap media scare stories of course. We're not all
doomed and, between all the morose media musings, I found two reports yesterday
that intrigued me more.
First was a report from the Federal Reserve titled: “The July 2008 Senior Loan Officer
Opinion Survey on Bank Lending Practices”.
Aha, I thought, this
would be interesting. And it is.
