The BBC reports today that Microsoft is planning to create a whole new operating system called Midori, which is being developed because "Windows is unlikely to be
able to cope with the pace of change in future technology and the way people use
it." Hence, Midori is being created as an operating system focused upon the internet rather than the PC.
Although Microsoft state: "Midori is one of many incubation projects underway at Microsoft. It's simply a
matter of being too early in the incubation to talk about it." Others, such as Software Development News, have seen internal Microsoft documents that cannot underestimate Midori's importance.
You can't hide anything ;-)
