I’ve got a job to do ... writing reports. Speaking about the future of the
industry. Chairing meetings about banking matters. Dining with executives and
dialoguing about infrastructures.
The
trouble is, it’s all gone to pot.
Whilst the markets are moving faster than a long-tailed cat in
a room full of rocking chairs, I don’t know what to do.
One minute, the markets are up. The next they’re down.
The Fed pumps in $700 billion, then the UK
government follows suit, then so do France and Germany, and suddenly every
government is coming out of the closet and saying, “we’ve got money”.
Brilliant!
