As I wrote the last two blogs about 'average being good enough' and large global banks , I realised that there was a link between the two.
The link is that HSBC, Citi, Deutsche and more, are all aiming to provide a single, global platform – One Bank – with consistent, global delivery to all bank, corporate and high net worth clients. Large cross-border clients and, for these guys, average is good enough because they want consistent global service.
But here, I don’t mean ‘average’. It can still be great service by focusing upon LCD: the Lowest Common Denominator.
